A two time Emmy nominated talk show producer, Lora is a specialist in talk show production, host & correspondent coaching, talent positioning and branding and creating content for television and Internet. Over her almost 30 year television career, she has developed and sold original concept programming in USA and Europe as well as talent driven programs in domestic and international markets. She has helped build successful careers for top hosts. Lora has media trained many TV hosts and personalities, sports and movie stars, pop divas, politicians, newsmakers, media professionals, top executives and even a countess or two.

USA & INTERNATIONAL WORK

Lora’s know-how extends to producing late night talk, news, entertainment and reality formats. As an executive producer for television, Lora has produced hundreds of national network, nationally syndicated and international television shows both taped, live and on location. 

As a producer, show creator, TV development executive, media consultant and coach, Lora has worked with NBC, FOX, DISNEY, TURNER, LIFETIME TELEVISION, HSN, and PARAMOUNT in the USA as well as PRO 7, SAT 1, ENDEMOL and other top corporations and production companies in Germany where she spent 10 years as a consultant. 

Lora has created unique shows, discovered, developed and sold talent and show concepts for syndication to KINGWORLD, BUENA VISTA TELEVISION and TELEPICTURES as well as several German and Dutch networks including DSF and RTL4.

In the USA Lora was the Executive Producer/Writer for the daytime talk show Leeza and Supervising Producer for the visually groundbreaking late night talk show Lauren Hutton And.., In addition, she worked several years as an Investigative Producer for Geraldo, was one of the original Producers for The Jerry Springer Show and as a Segment Producer/Writer for the nationally acclaimed women's lifestyle program, Attitudes on Lifetime Television.

Before her career in television, Lora worked five years in producing and management on over 40 Broadway and Off Broadway shows, some Tony nominated, for theatrical luminaries such as Elizabeth I. McCann and Joseph Papp.

Lora has been blogging since 2010 and currently under Diary of a Mad hausfrau, covering food and travel. Additionally, for two years, she was the German Food expert at about.com, creating, writing, styling and photographing 12 recipes a month. Her culinary work has been featured multiple times in People Magazine, PBS Parents, Buzzfeed, Cupcakes take the Cake, Disney’s Babble.com, ivillage, The Travel Squire, Parade Magazine's Community Table and Every Day with Rachel Ray Magazine.


SHE'S EXTRA

As a scuba diver (PADI Rescue Diver certification) and world traveler, Lora has visited over 70 countries, speaks OK German and rusty Spanish. 

Lora is a member of the American Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (AATAS) and The Writers Guild of America (WGA).

She is an active member and produces special events for the NYC chapter of the United Nations Spouse Association, NYLESA.  

Lora is a member of the James Beard Foundation.  She has twice served as a judge for the International Chocolate Awards

In addition to a US Passport, Lora holds permanent residency in Germany. She currently resides in New York City with her husband  who is the Medical Director of the United Nations.
